    Hey there, Folks! Join me tonight for my birthday show!! Actually, my birthday is in 2 days. And tonight's show is a reprise of my birthday show from October 28, 2008! And for the 3 hours of that show, I had the pleasure of the company of lead singer and drummer of Hot Wax/Invictus' Flaming Ember...Jerry Plunk!

    Jerry had been on the show 2 weeks prior to this show. He and I focus the show, not only on his career and his time with Hot wax Records and HDH, and Motown, but we play and discuss many other Invictus/Hot Wax stars AND Jerry's STILL unreleased cd "Unfinished Business" which reunites Jerry and Flaming Ember AND Telma Hopkins, Joyce Vincent-Wilson and Pam Vincent.

    We also talk about all that naughty double-entendre laced within the Invictus/Hot Wax tracks.

    So join me tonight for a reprise of one of the funnest times I have ever had doing this show....with Jerry Plunk of Flaming Ember....on "Nightflight"...on WOMR 92.1 FM Provincetown and WFMR 91.3 FM Orleans...and webcasting worldwide in digital stereo at www.womr.org

    I'm looking forward to it too, Joseph! I need to laugh at this new year creeping up on me....and this show is busting with laughter. Thanks for your kind words about that remix....I'm glad I didn't interfere with Shirley bassey's magnificent vocal.

    Hey Tone, glad you made it. Love my 'cados and they're at a good price right now. I got some of those big, round Reed 'cados at the farmer's market by my house. 3 for $5.00. That's good for Reeds.

    davidh...yeah...Jerry said they backed up most everything Flaming Ember did...and virtually everything at Invictus/Hot Wax...and so much more we don't even know of in Detroit. I wish we knew all that they were on.
