Fantastic performance. I love these guys for reminding people that groups like this from the 70's set the tone for the music that came after them.
For me it was Meet the Temptations. I wore that lp out!
The Stylistics debut album, Round 2 and Rockin' Roll Baby
They absolutely killed this on the Grammys. Definitely a nod to the old school r&b groups.
992 Arguments - Ojays
Killer piano vamp at the end.
The Softones were a household name on the east coast. Marvin Brwon had one of the best voices that ever recorded for Avco Records.
Prince & Philip Bailey
I love the 70s. All those 3-5 man groups singing sweet love songs, it can't get much better than that!
This guy is mental. How can he think that 400+ years of slavery was a choice. He definitely has the Kardashian curse. Poor fool!
Happy birthday SDF,
I love this forum! There is no other place that has such powerful and opinionated people who absolutely love music. Keep it going for many more years.

Congrats Ralph. It's well deserved.

The trivia challenges me every time. Have to put on my super thinking cap to get some of the questions. I've learned so many interesting facts about a variety of music.
Thanks Smooth
Motown 25 because it showcased the top Motown talents especially Michael Jackson.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SDF!
Sad story. Eugene Record was a great talent and had an exceptional voice.
Smooth,
Just got finished listening to the Love CD. You got yourself a winner with this one! I would like to review every song and interlude but that could just go on forever. So here's the short...
This was an interesting collaboration of Russell Thompkins Jr. [[Stylistics), William "Poogie" Hart [[Delphonics) and Ted "The Wizard" Mills[[Blue Magic).

I find it interesting that no one here mentioned Michael McDonald, who is the epitomy of blue-eyed soul in my opinion. He covered the Stylistics You Are Everything and Stop Look Listen on his two CDs...
Van Fields is a no talent fraud that should never have the right to book himself using the Stylistics name.
Richard Elliott - People Make the World Go Round
RIP Steve. You will be missed. Our condolences go out to the family.

Just saw George live at the Keswick Theater in Philly last night. Excellent 2 hour concert. Along with his great hits he did 5 songs from the new CD:
I Want to Hold Your Hand
My Cherie Amour...
Happy 10th SDF. Keep on keeping on!
