    Spanning the gap between early soul and girl group records, I'm Blue [[The Gong Gong Song) in 1962 was one of the first records that turned me on to both of those genres.

    Thankyou for sharing link on here...Majority will know that singers/groups often lip synced back then...I've just been told that Jessie, Robbie & Vanetta are doing this to the 45 which was recorded by The Ikettes before them...Josephine "Joshie Jo" Armstead, Eloise Hester and Delores Johnson...isn't it great when we learn something new?

    thanks for posting. They were on because of "Peaches & Cream" which was a top 40 hit in '65, which they did on the same show.
