I'm just curious how many musicians we have here and how many just fans we have. If your a musician, include what you play!

I am a drummer, but haven't played in a band in 30 years. I am rusty.
I played trombone from 1954 until 1979
I ran a big band from 1967 to 1979

I do a Roy Orbison Tribute but also love to perform Motown songs acoustically [[guitar and vocal) amongst lots of other stuff including classics, the shows, Beatles etc.

I play keyboards and electric bass, but not at the same time.
Ha ha. I thank you for it, Motown4Ever.
Not to mention a hit of the old crash cymbal.
I play acoustic piano, dobro guitar, upright bass, tenor sax, violin, congas and chromatic
harmonica every night...in my dreams...
I'm just a fan.
I'm one - guitar/piano/bass/drums/violin and vocals too.
I play...ummm, ukulele, a little bass, a little guitar, oh and DRUMS!!!! and a healthy number of percussion instruments including Kalimba.
I'm jealous of you guys. The best I can do is get a song in my head and sing it long enough until it drives my family nuts. And I took guitar lessons with my son. Very modest success.
I'm mainly a drummer and harmonica player, but I try to play the bass, piano and guitar with little success.
Interesting, 5 out of 8 play some sort of drums, and we are at a Motown site. With appologies to the late great Double J on bass, as Smokey said one key of the Motown Sound was the drumming.
The others are just lurking, Motown. There's enough musicians on this site to start two record companies complete with studio tech support and marketing.
I sing and play harmonica in local joints.
I play some basic guitar and keyboards, but just to figure out songs.
BTW, this should have been posted elsewhere. I'm sure I am not the only member who doesn't check the motown section as much as the others.
