The 20 Grand Story
The Dancers

We always admired Black Dancers when they appeared on television in the U.K.

I can vividly recall seeing Billy Preston one night singing and dancing to 'Agent OO Soul'. A sensational moment.

One can only imagine what it was like therefore to witness the dancers at The 20 Grand.

Carole Huckaby was able to provide some information on one of those dancers, her brother Oscar.

"Oscar T. Huckaby was born March 14,1939 to
George and Lucille Huckaby. He had three sisters and two  brothers.

Georgetta, Carole and Charlene (sisters)
Carl and George (brothers).

He graduated from Northeastern High School in
1958 and entered the U.S. Army and completed
with a honorable discharge.

Oscar died January 30,1981.

This photograph features his good friend Dennis."
