Mary Wilson - Walk The Line Video......What's It All About?

I've had different people tell me different things regarding the meaning of this video. I always believed it related to social justice. What is your understanding of what is in this video and song?

She is so fine in this vid it’s hard to listen to the words lol! Social commentary of not going to be pushed around and live by someone else’s rules.

That's close to how I had always interpreted the lyrics to mean.

Probably has a certain amt of personal significance for Mary as well.

I do recall her saying at the time that the song was almost autobiographical and that she could have written it about her own life. I think she was referring to total independence at that stage in her life.

What a beautiful woman! Was it Tennessee Williams who said she equaled Elizabeth Taylor In beauty?

Yes he said that when they met and had dinner while Mary was on vacation. I can't remember the place at the moment. I've said that she could easily give Marilyn Monroe a run for her money!
