Just in time for Saturday morning [[well maybe 47 years a little late)! So grab a bowl of cereal and milk and enjoy!

Oh Wow. Marv I've not seen these in years. I could only been a skinny little 8 year old kid when these were aired in the UK. Thanks for bringing back the memories.

The cartoons are also available on dvd McMotown. Looks like the price has gone up over the years. When the set was first released I don't remember it being so costly. I planned to purchase one but it wasn't a priority because I already have most of them on a vhs I recorded from TV.

McMotown, you are most welcome. I was a skinny little 9 year old when I saw the first show. I have fond memories of those days too.

Aaaahhh, those carefree, fun days of the early 1970s. Remember the records on the back of the cereal boxes? Wish I'd have kept mine!

Lockhartgary, I was going to mention that. I use to make my Mom Alphabets so that I could cut out the record on the back. They had a couple by the Archies too. She'd get mad when she'd catch me putting them on her "good Stereo" to play them LOL! My favorite cereal record was "I Bet Ya" by the Jackson 5.

I never knew their was a Beatles cartoon earlier.
Not that I care about the Beatles. My brother in-law was into the Beatles and Wings, but he never did have any taste in music.

Here are the musical acts that got a Saturday morning cartoon:
    The Beatles [[1965-67)
    The Jackson 5 [[1971-72)
New Kids on the Block [[1990)
    Kid & Play [[1990)
    MC Hammer [[1991)

Andre 3000 had one on Cartoon Network a while back.

Can't think of any others but these were the main ones.

I do, but I thought this was about real bands. Otherwise, I would have included The Archies & Josie & The Pussycats.

and don't forget the Groovey Ghoulies LOL! No, what this was about was the Jackson 5 cartoon. Someone else started listing real bands that had cartoons just because I mentioned Beatles having one.
