Marv while playing this this morning while getting dressed, I was transported back to Club La Martinique on W 57th Street and 6th Avenue. And yes it always flooded the dance floor at which time a non dancer like myself could get some gal who liked the song to not let my not being a dancer get in the way of her getting out and shaking what her mama gave her.

Oh you probably danced better than you gave yourself credit for. Whenever I hear this I have to at least tap my foot or snap my fingers a bit. Music is suppose to make you feel something and this one does!

People have their own idea of what the first disco record was. I honestly do not know what i would regard as the ist disco record. I guess my first real experience of a disco record was probably "never can say goodbye" by Gloria Gaynor, but there were no doubt other records prior to that which other people would regard as disco. All depends on your definition of Disco i suppose, but this is a classic tune whatever genre it may or may not come under.
