Esther Edwards had been writing a book for several years. One time when I visited the museum [[possibly with Woodward who posts here), she talked of the book and that she was dealing with the time when Esther and Mr Gordy went to visit Stevie's mum to ask for her signature on the contract. She had found some pictures of that day and was keen to share them. I wonder if she ever managed to complete the book.

Here's one that i think the fans would like,smokey wrote his book some years back which was very good of course,but he didn't say a whole lot about the miracles,how about a book on the miracles nothing scandelous just stories about thier life on the road and in the studio,we still have-claudette-bobby-pete-billy,so maybe it could be fun.

I dont know why the Miracles have been ignored for so long. Im like you I dont care about the drama I want to hear about their travels and see pics of them in the studio. I have wondered is Smokey oblivious to this and thinks that maybe the fans dont care? I know he is friendly with all of the Miracles and he and Claudette are pretty civil so I dont know what the hold up has been it cant be Berry! His name is not attached to them the way it was with the Supremes.

I remember a few years ago Claudette said she was going to write a book but I have not heard anything since.

I was happily surprised to find this Taiwanese copy of her Together duet album with Marvin Gaye. Mary was loved the world over and this long awaited biography is greatly anticipated!

Im excited about Peters book because nobody has written a book about Mary at all and the UNSUNG was the first step. My only regret is that his book was not ready by the time the program aired but that is ok because there is still a lot of interest in this woman.
