One of the most difficult questions.......but I'll give it a shot. LOL!
#1 forever and probably my favorite record of all - "Baby I Need Your Loving"
Ain't No Woman Like The One I Got
I'll Turn to Stone
Something About You
Reach Out, I'll Be There

Ask The Lonely.
I Got A Feeling.
Brenda. [[Levi)
What You Gonna Do With Me Baby.
Bernadette.
I Got a Feeling, I Got a Feeling, I Got a Feeling, I Got a Feeling and I Got a Feeling.
What's that? Oh you mean I have to name five DIFFERENT songs. Well if you insist........
I Got a Feeling, I'll Turn to Stone, Something About You, Without the One You Love, and I Just Can't Get You Out of My Mind.
In no particular order: Still Water [[Love), Standing In The Shadows Of Love, I Can’t Help Myself, Since You’ve Been Gone, Is There Anything That I Can Do.
Your Love Is Wonderful
I Can't Help Myself
Something About You
Walk Away Renee
Shake Me, Wake Me [[When It's Over)
Still Water [[Love)
Shake Me Wake Me
It’s All In The Game
River Deep Mountain High with the Supremes
Baby I Need Your Lovin
It is just an impossible task. I cannot narrow it down to five, but these are the five i am currently feeling. If you ask me again tomorrow i would no doubt respond differently.
Still Water [[Love)
Baby i need your loving
Reach out i'll be there
I can't help myself
Walk away Renee.
It´s difficult to select only five.......
- Baby I need your loving
- Reach out I´ll be there
- Which way is the sky
- Lonley lover
- Just seven numbers [[I like to hear the dialing ;-))
This is one of the hardest survey questions in which to respond. My choices are not in any particular order:
Bernadette
Your Love is Wonderful
Something About You
I'm in a Different World
Since You've Been Gone
Bernadette
Without the One You Love
Something About You
Standing In the Shadows of Love
I'll Turn to Stone
Although I know we can actually do so, is anyone else considering going back to edit your list based on a choice someone else mentioned that you wished you had included? Are you also seeing some choices that you would have not even included even in a top 50 list? Ain't it great how our tastes are so similar yet we do have some strong differences? I love it.
No time, same o same o, clip my wings, yesterday's dreams [[ both versions) what you gonna do with me baby
Lol. I didn't post right away because I had to really think about it. I'm glad I did because I was reminded by the posted lists of some I might have forgotten. It really is hard to list only five.
Something About You
It's The Same Old Song
Shake me, Wake Me
Baby, I Need Your Loving
I'll Turn To Stone
Reach Out I'll Be There
Bernadette
It's the Same Old Song
Without the One You Love
Lonely Lover [[stereo version)
No apologies for all being HDH.
No one has included "You Keep Running Away" or "7 Rooms of Gloom" yet.
Baby I Need Your Loving
I Can't Help Myself [[Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch)
It's The Same Old Song
I Got A Feeling
You Keep Running Away
I think?
Today's thoughts:
Just A Little Love
I Can't Help Myself
I Got A Feeling
Since You've Been Gone
Simple Game [[UK mix)
The Tops just dropped a new album, "Sunflower." That is all.
I'm In A Different World
It's The Same Old Song/I Can't Help Myself
Standing In The Shadows Of Love/Reach Out I'll Be There
Ask The Lonely
Something About You
i'm going to check and do 2 lists!
Hits singles
It's all in the game
sugar pie honey bunch
i got a feeling
reach out
im in a different world
other tracks
*Bring me together - one of the most gorgeous ballads
*walk with me talk with me - i know this is technically a single but it didn't chart high so putting it here
*melodie - duet with the supremes
*nice 'n easy - from their workshop jazz album
*light my fire - should have been a flop but an amazing redo of this song
Baby I Need Your Loving
Reach Out I'll Be There
7-Rooms of Gloom
Standing in the Shadows of Love
Lost In A Pool Of Red
Tough Call but here it goes:
"Reach Out I'll Be There"
"Bernadette"
"Standing In The Shadows Of Love"
"I Can't Help Myself [[Sugar Pie Honey Bunch)"
"Something About You"
This is tough because I love so many of their songs...
“You Can’t Keep A Good Man Down”
“I’m In A Different World”
“[[It’s The Way) Nature Planned It”
“Clip My Wings”
“Without The One You Love”
Walk with me, talk with me
lost in a pool of red
it's a lonely world without your love
if you don't want my love, your love is wonderful
I agree with Bernadette too. Sugar pie Honey Bunches was in a Duncan Hines Cake tv ad back in the day.
1 Reach Out- greatest song ever made- Levi voice, Andantes back up and the great JJ on bass, plus the 13 year old gal who starts it all off with a flute, I am also certain that is HDH favorite- which is saying a lot.
2 Sugar Pie Honey Bunch- number one all summer long in my hometown of Detroit- probably next to My Girl the most recognize song in Motown history. Plus another out of this world bass by JJ, that makes the song
3- Ask The Lonely- One of the great vocals ever made and by far the Andantes greatest contribution to music
4- Still Waters- great Smoke song and another great JJ bass
5- When She was My Girl- wow this was in the 80's and sounds just as great as it did back in the day- great vocal bass by Obie Benson.
Bernadette
Ask the Lonely
Still Waters
Keepers of the Castle
[[That's the Way) Nature Planned It
BONUS: I Believe in You & Me
1. I've Got A Feeling
2. I'll Turn To Stone
3. It's The Same Old Song
4. Something About You
5. Since You've Been Gone
You guys stole my thunder. So I'll just add "When She Was My Girl" and "Loco in Acapulco."
