Bettye LaVette appears in the opening credit sequence, and sings the theme song, of AMC's new crime drama, Low Winter Sun. The show is set in Detroit and mostly shot on location. It debuts on Sunday, August 11.
Needless to say, Bettye is especially proud to be a part of it.
