How does the poll function work?

I want to put a poll up, I clicked on the poll function, previewed it and nothing happens.

Help for the cyber-fool here? Thanks!

Write your your opening post when you start a thread. But, before you actually post it, scroll down the page until you see an area that says something like "Make A Poll". Check the box ans choose how many poll questions you want to have. Then post.

When you hit post, you will be taken to a new page where you can set up your poll. Ensure that you check all the options like whether it will be single or multiple choice, and whether you want poller's choices to be public. Once all the options and the poll are ready, post it.

Once you create a poll and post it, it cannot be changed, so be careful!
