Michael Buble singing acappella at a New York subway station. They put a "doo wop" spin on the Motown classic "Who's Loving You". He did this yesterday after appearances on some morning talk shows. Fantastic!

Michael Buble is so willing to try different ways to use his talent...Great song and great rendition.

I saw Michael Jackson and his Brothers do this song "LIVE" at Madison Square Garden in 1968.
Michaels version still sends CHILLS up my spine and makes the hair stand up on My HEAD... and I'm BALD [[SMILE)!

I agree about Michael Jackson's version. I get chills, too. So much emotion in his rendition for someone so young at the time. It must have been something else to see him do it iive! I think I'll post it here.

It's on his 1972 "Ben" album. Also, damn I'm so jealous you got to see him live in 1968! Must've been just purely amazing.

Living in Jersey City I saw the Jackson 5 at least half a dozen times at Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall.

I also saw them twice at the L.A Forum.

I started playing Bass because I wanted to play like Jermaine!
I would memorize every song to get the Bass parts right especially "I Want You Back"
Those who play Bass know it is a KILLER BASS LINE!

Wow, that's awesome! Coincidentally I started playing bass because of Jermaine at first as well. Then Jamerson came into my life, and ooh boy... The rest is ancient history! Jermaine was very forgotten as a bassist. He did all the dance steps, sung, and played bass at the same time live. True talent! Too bad they didn't let him play on much of the early studio stuff.

I totally agree that Jermaine was multi-talented and a solid Bass Player.
I didn't know until later years that the Studio work on those early Albums was not Jermaine.
At first I felt deceived but now that I think about it,Seasoned Professionals would have had to play those Bass Lines.
Jermaine did a good job on stage to give the audience the basic Bass Sound.

Met Jermaine in Encino, California in 1981 and had several minutes to talk.
I still have the L.A Times Newspaper he signed...

Yeah I know what you mean. I felt the same when I found out it was Valerie singing Tammi's parts on the "Easy" album and most of the "You're All I Need" album. Jermaine probably could've played on those songs, but having a seasoned professional made the most sense to get such a high quality record.

That's awesome that you met him. I met him this past summer out in New York and got to speak with him for a minute. He was really nice. All I got was a handshake though, no autograph! [[Not that I needed it)
