Oh my! Has Miss Ross approved this? Or will it be a case of another Mary succumbing to the Wrath of Ross?

That's a nice cover. Who ever has taken over the photography at Ebony has been doing a great job. The cover they did of Sade earlier this year was absolutely beautiful. It looked like a piece of art.

The interesting thing is that out of all these covers, they are using the Mary/Diana cover to promote this issue.

And Mary emulates Diana better than these others. Wow.

Did anyone do Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner or Whitney?

Not my cover. The EBONY cover I got has Mary J. in her usual get up [[and she's a legend in her own right as far as hip-hop and contemporary R&B are concerned) and the others [[like Taraji, Blair, John and Samuel L. Jackson). It's to commemorate EBONY's 65th anniversary.

I am sorry but Usher looks nothing like Sammy Davis JR here, just not working for me.

I think the Mary. J and Diana photo were the best look-alikes, they look almost identical except for the nose, Diana's is much narrower then Mary's, that's the only difference I could see.

No, that is Taraji Henson. I never heard of her and had to look her up in Wikopedia

Ms. Diahann Carrolls second bio THE LEGS ARE THE LAST TO GO is great - in it she covers a ,ot including things she wrote in her first bio - so - you can skip the first one if you like and go right to THE LEGS ARE THE LAST TO GO - Diahann Carroll is a remarkable woman who has been through a lot more than you would think.

Mary J. Blige did an excellent job, impersonating Diana Ross!

I enjoyed Diahann Carroll in Dynasty.
