Edna Wright and Scherrie Payne had a similar sound on the record VIP. But Freda Payne had her own sound, in my opinion. While we're discussing INVICTUS/HOT WAX female singers, am I the only one who thinks Eloise Laws' Tighten Him Up sounds like Jean Terrell?
