Bless her heart. Always loved her voice, saw her live for the first time in 1965 -`66 at Newark's Branford Theater, with Ollie McLaighlin's other acts Deon Jackson [[who took me to the show) and The Capitols.

Didn't Ollie just do some fine recordings which really have stood the test of time!

Yes, he did! On his Karen & Carla labels!!
It doesn't getmuch better than "Hello Stranger","Love Makes The World Go Round",& "Cool Jerk", among other great tracks!!!
