One of my favourite female vocalists!!

The soulfulkindamusic site has this discography on her ..

    http://www.soulfulkindamusic.net/detaylor.htm

[[I'm pleased to say I have the vast majority of her recordings)

Interesting to see that that site states that the U.K. Arista release of "I Don't Wanna Leave You"/"Just Don't Pay" only came out as a Demo .. probably explains why I was never able to get my hands on a copy!!

One U.K. release missing off that discography is the 12" issue of ""Just Don't Pay" in 1989 by "Oldies Label" Old-Gold, that coupled it with "Love Don't Come No Stronger" by JEFF PERRY [[appreciators of the JEFF PERRY gem should be warned that on this release the intro of "Love Don't Come No Stronger" was edited out for some bizarre reason).

There was also a UK compilation CD in the early 1990s called "Soul Groove" that included "Just Don't Pay" .. this link enables you to listen to most of the tracks on the C.D. ..... Amazingly the version of "Just Don't Pay" in the link seems to be an extended version!!!!

And it looks like you can still obtain a C.D. copy of her Today L.P.

I believe that this was her most successful 45 in the U.S...

Now that was a SANGING ass woman!!!!! I am totally shocked and ashamed that I never
heard her until yesterday. I guess I was hung up on other music during her early begininngs.
I had to google her and was surprised to find she's still with us and has her own website
which tells all about her journey, here:

    http://www.maydiemyles.com/home.html

If she had been given the same professional care as some of our favorites today a lot
of so-called "Divas" would have been diced and dumped right quick...goodness, goes
to show you can learn something new every dillydang day!...

I know "Never Gonna Let Him Know." I've got to listen to some of her other recordings.
