Bobby Darin 1973 series to get DVD release!

Great news... tvshows on DVD has confirmed that MPI home video is preparing all 13 episodes of Bobby Darin's 1973 TV series for a DVD release. No date set as of yet, but they said Late Spring/Early Summer will be the time frame.

FYI: This overview from IMDB gives some more information. I can't remember who was on the show or why it should still be relevant in 2013. It seems some thought it didn't show Bobby Darin off well enough as the versatile entertainer was he and it only ran for a short while.

The series has many great guest stars.... Freda Payne, Peggy Lee, Petula Clark, Sonny and Cher, Dusty Springfield, Flip Wilson, Helen Reddy, etc.
