    Agreed Marv2, them were some sangin sistas. That soprano was just as strong as the low note and the lead vocals were quite powerful too

    This is great Marv. I've heard some of her gospel recordings and I did not like them at all but I'm feeling this.

    Glad you liked that Marv. IMO there were few people in the entirely history of soul who deserved super-stardom and never got it as much as Lorraine Ellison did. (Linda Jones also fits into that category I think)
