I totally agree with you, msjoys.

I've been quietly 'wearing my poppy with pride' over the last week or so, and watched the Festival of Remembrance last night here on UK TV.

Now viewing the Remembrance Day ceremony from Whitehall, London..and thinking about the uncle I never knew, whose ship went down during WW2, and whose body was lost to the sea.

And, of course, also thinking about the heroism in more recent wars and conflicts.

It's the very least we all can do.
