It's no different in country music. I never hear Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn or Dolly Parton played with Taylor Swift. Parton is struggling to remain relevant to young country music fans. It's a generational thing. Most young people prefer listening to singers and rappers around their age....people they can relate to.
