This is a sad story only in how it reflects on the Winans Family, whom I hold in high esteem. Thanks Glen for sharing.

Church folks are some of the most vulnerable to these schemes. I lost about $1,000. in an off shore commodities scheme about 15 years ago because I trusted the presentation that was given at a church. When I got suspicious and called the so called office number in the Caribbean, the person simply answered the phone with an "hello" and when I questioned them further, they hung up. Some folks lost a lot of money and I tried to warn my buddy who got me to attend the "meeting", he stayed with it and lost more than just $1,000. Sheesh, you can't trust Deacon so and so anymore.
