RIP Chad Everett

This is actually old news because he passed away on July 24th, the same day as Sherman Hemsley, but I never read anything about it in any magazine, website or newspaper until today. He was mostly known for playing a doctor [[I think the character's name was Joe Gannon?) on a show called Medical Center back in the 70s.

He was a ruggedly good-looking guy and had quite a number of other guest roles after that. I would have thought he was well-enough known that it should have received wider coverage. He was 75 and died of lung cancer.
