    R.I.P. Carlton "King" Coleman

I didn't see anyone mentioned this on the forum, so I figure I'll post it.

A station I listen to online from Memphis plays one of his songs as their theme, for their R&B / Soul show on Wednesday nights called "In The Basement.

I saw King Coleman back in '66 when he MC'd the Wilson Pickett Show, starring Wilson Pickett, Billy Stewart, TV Mama,
Al tnt Braggs & the Al-Tones, the Kelly Brothers, etc. Coleman was such a showman! He was like a black Yul Brenner
in appearance. I think he was actually from Tampa, FL.
