Donal Trump bashes Cher after music star makes comments about Mitt Romney

Donald Trump says Cher is a miserable loser.

The property tycoon and reality TV star's comments follow remarks made by the music veteran about Mitt Romney, calling the Republican U.S, presidential hopeful "racist" and "homophobic."

So, famous Republican supporter Trump shot back, posting a message on his Twitter.com page reading, 'Cher attacked Mitt Romney. She is an average talent who is out of touch with reality… a total loser!'

He later added, 'Cher should stop with the bad plastic surgery and nasty statements about good people running for office. I can't stand her computer enhanced voice or music.'

But the Donald wasn't done, according to Contact Music, which reports that he reiterated the sentiment on Monday, telling Fox News, "You know, I understand Cher, and Cher is somewhat of a loser. She's lonely, she's unhappy, she's very miserable.'

Cher is currently working on her first album since 2001's Living Proof.

What this proves is that obviously Trump feels that the only one who has the right to voice a dissenting opinion about a politician [[or anyone else for that matter) is him.

I just wish that the man would go away somewhere. Somewhere far, far away.

Or better yet, I wish that someone would make a bet with him, like the Twilight Zone episode named "The Silence", where he'd have to be silent for a year in order to collect a million.

But I doubt that he would because I believe that he thinks that we really need his guidance & more than that, he really loves to hear himself talk.

Loser seems to be his favorite word. He still calls Rosie a loser and now he is labeling Cher a loser. Well, he can label himself a loser too. A loser in his marriages, a loser in casinos, two or three bankruptcies [[where he leaves his creditors holding the bag while he brags what a success he is), and a loser even in his hair.

Shut up Donald. Cher has real talent and has had a stunning career. She's rich, still stunning, an Oscar winner, and she could whip your toupeed ass anytime, anywhere.

What is wrong with this man? I have no problem with him wanting publicity but he is always attacking people and saying moronic things. Why do I feel like this may come back to haunt him?

I was on Cher's Twitter page yesterday before I knew about any of this drama between her and Trump. I'm almost certain I remember reading a post where she addresses Trump's comments, but I went back and I don't see it anymore. Cher is entitled to express her political opinions. I don't follow enough U.S. politics to know everything about Mitt Romney, so I can't say whether or not he is racist, but I do agree that he is homophobic. Funny thing is that he used to support gay marriage and the gay community at one time. There's plenty of proof of that on the internet. Seems like he's flip flopping to get votes from the right.

Why do I feel like Cher has some interesting words for Trump? She's a hardcore liberal. She even had harsh words for her late ex-husband, Sonny Bono because he was a republican senator.

Cher has made a few additional songs using auto-tune, but they're from her lesser known album, "Living Proof". I love all of her songs, including the ones with auto-tune. She uses auto-tune in some of her songs because it adds a different artistic/creative element. She doesn't use it because she can't sing, although that is unfortunately the case with many artists who use auto-tune today. She is very talented. Few people are able to re-invent themselves in a late stage of their career like Cher successful did and still does.

The fact that Donald Trump started drama and got involved in something that has nothing to do with him just shows how petty he is. He is classless.

I’m sure Donald Trump would love to have Cher on Celebrity Apprentice as she’s a real star, and not a broke ass or a has been or a never was been like most of the contestants on that show.

My take is that he's 1: trying to keep his name out there, and 2: indirectly starting a new front on the culture war. Cher is a known liberal. In the conservative mind, that means Hollywood types + liberal + Obama support + something conservatives should oppose...except him, of course. Never mind that he's got a TV show.
