I still have a lot of resepect for Dionne's original.

Fair to say that Dionne defined the song but for me, Aretha's is the best version.

I like Dioone's original, too. That's one thing that always really bugged me about Aretha, she was such a hypocrite, cause she always got bent out of shape when people would cover her songs, but then sat there and covered other people's stuff and released them as SINGLES... Dionne, Dusty, Lulu. And Lulu's song was written specifically for her:
