One correction: Sheena Easton duets with Prince on U Got the Look, not Sheila E., though she’s on drums on the track.
    A couple more duet suggestions:

What Have I Done to Deserve This: Pet Shop Boys and Dusty Springfield
Friends: Jody Watley and Eric B. and Rakim
I Knew You Were Waiting for Me: Aretha Franklin and George Michael
Sisters are Doing it for Themselves: Aretha Franklin and Annie Lennox/Eurythmics

I didn't see "I Just Can't Stop Loving You" by Michael Jackson and Siedah Garrett in any of the responses [[and now I can't get it out of my head).

Also, "Say, Say, Say" and "The Girl Is Mine" with MJ and Paul McCartney.

Hi, Ian. I also likes a lot not only this duet but all the double album "A Man & A Woman" but I think she should to name "80's duets" and this one is from around 1976 or 1977 on ABC - Hot Butterd Soul Records. If I well remember in particular on "Can't Hide Love" [[I only have it on vynil and I don't have turntable years ago :-[[ ) only sang Dionne and female chorus [[there is also tunes where only sang Isaac hayes). Very good live album wich I never have stopped to heard from my teens until my turntable was K.O.
I think another Isaac Hayes LP with duets was really done in the 80's, the one with Millie Jackson, "Royal Rappins" that I have had and contains a very good cover of The O'Jays "What I'm Waiting For".

A 80's duet I dislike [[IMHO so much bland, but have had good criticals and was seminal to the sadly passed Whitney) was "Hold Me" by Teddy Pendergrass & Whitney Houston on the Elektra album "Love Language" [[1984).

If that counts, also Gene Dunlap & The Ridgeways on "Rock Radio"

And the fantastic "Two Hearts" by Stephanie Mills feat. Teddy!

    Cheers to all
