After much speculation, singer Whitney Houston's tragic death will reportedly be ruled an accident.

E! News cites a source within the investigation, who has confirmed that the legendary singer, who passed away in Los Angeles on Feb. 11, did not die by her own hand, nor as the result of a deliberate action taken by anyone else.

Though the cause of death has been listed as "deferred" pending toxicology test reports, the inquiry is apparently nearing completion, and "nothing suspicious" has been turned up regarding Houston's physicians, or any other persons of interest related to the case.

"She had no marks on her body whatsoever to indicate a struggle, and she was the furthest thing from trying to kill herself," explained the source, who further revealed that the toxicology screening may be handed in as soon as next week.

The Los Angeles County Department of the Coroner has yet to comment regarding the results, as the investigation is still ongoing.

Just as with Vesta, I would wait to see the final results.

People were speculating that Vesta possibly died due to mixing prescription drugs or mixing them with alcohol, which is commonly labelled "Death By Misadventure".

All of those whom had been speculating ended up with egg on their faces when the official report came out, because drugs had nothing to do with her death. She died from a heart condition, a condition which she may have been totally unaware of as is often the case when someone dies so suddenly at such a young age.

Then there was Amy Winehouse, whose death most in the media were rushing to blame on drugs. As it turned out, drugs weren't to blame.

These early reports that the media always seems to be in a rush to put out there often prove faulty. I'd prefer to hear what the coroner says because lately, a lot of the speculation appears to be little more than throwing something against the wall, then hoping that it will stick.

The sad thing about it is that there's been more discussion & words of appreciation about & for her music this month than there was over the last few years.
