this universe thing is too big for me..but i've found myself on afew beaches in my time,the only problem the sand pebbles were bigger than me!!

That's how I understand it.

On the other hand, if we're that insignificant, it's amazing how much we have achieved in our understanding of the Universe. Let's hope we don't throw it all away through our own stupidity.
