So, now the vultures pop up and reveal themselves. Who knew that they'd be in the form of family or "advisers". I'm sure that whoever is arranging this will take a respectable cut for his/her efforts and consideration for the poor girl.

Depends how deep their addiction is. Sometimes the drug is the most powerful entity in the addicts life.

An extended stay in rehab with a full commitment to the 12 step program is usually the best way, but the addict has to have hit their bottom and want to be helped in order for total and lasting sobriety.
