Reaching for the World - Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes

    Hey SDF:

    HELP!!!

I have been trying to find the CD of "Reaching for the World" by Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes. I believe that it is the first recording after Teddy P left the group around 1976. The songs are:

    1 Floyd
    2 Hostage, Pt. 1 & 2
3 He Loves You and I Do Too
    4 Big Singing Star
    5 Stay Together
    6 Where There's a Will There'sa Way
7 After You Love Me, Why Do You Leave Me
    8 Sandman

I think it was on Philly International

    Need Info

    Thanks

    GOOMBA

I don't remember this record being released on Cd. It may have been on an import. I have the vinyl. Its a good album. I believe its the first one after Teddy left. Probably not even available on mp3. Sorry I couldn't help more. I'm laughing because as for your set list [[Floyd ?) I know you meant Reaching For The World....lol.......

Yes ABC ; one of two albums on ABC, both pretty good and stand up well despite Teddy having departed...

    Paladin, Mr Soul, MikeUK:

    Thanks for the feedback.

The main song I want is "He Loves You and I Do Too" - I would be much obliged if someone could find a way to post it here.

    Hey MikewUK:

    Thanks so much.

Hey Nosey: How you doing, last time I seen you was at Penns Landing when Russell[[RATjr) & I came to see the TYMES. Somebody just turned me on to this song recently. Too Bad it is not on CD.

Man, it's been a while. When the weather breaks, I plan on getting out more. Didn't even go to one show at the Dell last year but his year, I plan on catching up! Hope to see you there this summer.

I actually got this on LP because I got tired of waiting for it come out on CD [[ABC's holding out on us). Very decent album. "He Loves You & I Do To" should of been a single! David Ebo nailed it at the end and Jerry Cummings's falsetto is just unreal!
