    Pops Greatest Dance Crazes

The above is the title of a TV programme on BBC3 at 7pm tonight.
But from the write-up they seem to think that dance crazes started in the 70's with cuts like Carl Douglas's "King Fu Fighting".
Surely there has to be a bit in this show about "The Twist" but I guess we will not be learning how to do "the Shake", "the Duck", "The Monkey", "The Mashed Potato", "The Jerk" or "The 45" from watching it.

The TV show was very very disappointing. It concentrated on stuff from the 80's & 90's and seemed more interested in what dancing was done on the track's video rather than on whether it inspired people to take up the dance in disco's across the world.
... AND ... no they didn't even mention the Twist !!! [[though it seems to be a 2 part show & I only got to see the 1st part).
