An article that was published in the Australian press last month confirmed that Anita did not participate in the group's last tour due to being ill. No further details were disclosed. There is also a video of Bonnie Pointer that was filmed by TMZ before her arrest and she talks a bit about this. I pray healing and a quick recovery to Anita.

I hope Anita is doing OK! I remember that video of Bonnie making some claim that Anita had cancer. But, Bonnie looked 'not quite herself'...so, not sure how accurate that info was. Whatever, I wish Anita the best and hope she returns to the group soon.
