Hi Drew, GOOD GUYS ; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gF9niT_wWsI

    Here's another Prince Philip track...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MCnai4fXqHs

I saw him perform in London more than 30 plus years ago....was mesmerised by him dancing as well as his singing...what I did not know was what a brilliant great songwriter he would be.

and this is an example of why I feel art is being destroyed, sucked out, exploited and ruined,,an entire ART form ruined!

same song ruined... wake up people. it's just too painful, what did West add to this song? Absolutely Nothing., in my opinion

THE SUPREMES & FOUR TOPS - DO YOU LOVE ME JUST A LITTLE, HONEY

a superb 1970 tune produced by none other than Johnny Bristol, but was it a hit back then?

This song was never released from the 1995 album, which also wasn't released. I wonder how many other gems are still sitting on the shelf.

As I'm reading this thread I'm listening to "My Secret Passion," an jazz instrumental recorded by Roy Brooks on the album [[but I have the CD version) Beat, released on the short lived Motown subsidiary label, Workshop Jazz in 1963. This is great stuff!

Nice to see Trouble Funk on here....been playing their stuff and others since Chuck Brown passed.

Last thing I played was the Tre Williams and The Revelations joint, "I Don't Want To Know".....a big hit in my car.

SCORPIO--- DENNIS COFFY and the bass solo by BOB BABBITT that is infamous. Back in the day it was said among young Bass players ,that if you could play the solo to SCORPIO you had the right to say you played the bass , otherwise you were still learning. IMO ,this track represents the fact that he was equal to JAMERSON and that there were now two rightful Master craftmen of the MOTOWN "bottom"
