    Phillip Mitchell interview by Heikki.

Heikki did a definitive 3 part history of 'Prince' Philip Mitchell and in depth interviews. This is the link to the second part of Heiiki's interview in which he covers Philip's work with Archie Bell.

Fantastic review for Phillip Mitchell and both Archie Bell but also what great artists.
Can't resist one of Phillip's records. Thanks for sharing this I had not seen this interview before.

I'm a huge fan of Prince Philip Mitchell. I saw him perform in London, with Al Green and Bloodstone. The concert was put in by John Abbey's Contempo organisation. He was a spellbinding acrobatic dancer as well as great singer. I collected everything I could by him, not just his own recordings but also recordings by other artists of his compositions. My favourite three songwriters are Lamont Dozier, George Jackson and........Philip Mitchell. Sold his "I'm Gonna Build California" Jay Boy45 on discogs for £40 a coiple of years
