I'm surprised no one here has started a thread about this until now.

Retired-coach Gerald Sadnusky should have never been allowed to go free on bond. He deserves to be in a maximum security prison shower room with a bunch of hardened lifer nazi gang members. They'll break his legs and arms before they gang rape him and bring him to a violent, torturous death.

Once the graduate student saw the shower rape with victim #2, he should have either stopped it, or called the police instead of going to his father. He, and all others who were made aware of this did not report a falony to the police. They should all be charged. Too bad Pennsylvania law doesn't allow for it.

Through the years, all the way back to 1998, people were aware of what Sandusky was doing, and the ball was repeatedly dropped, even by the police, who decided not to pursue the case.

And, now we find that Sandusky was probably pimping the boys out to his wealthy buddies.

The whole thing is disgusting!

The entire scandal makes me sick to my stomach and Jerry Sandusky should rot in jail forever. Papa Joe Paterno has seriously tainted college football for harboring a rapist. Joe should have gone straight to the authorities the moment this was brought to his attention. May the good Lord forgive him and may he heal the hearts, souls and minds of those poor innocent boys that Sadunsky raped.

What a sad end to JoePa's once brilliant career. Alas, he has only himself to blame.

They will follow the money. The true horror probably lies within Sandusky's organization. This sordid affair will be told from back to front. This is only the beginning. We will probably be discussing this at this time next year. Their collective silence has been golden......now they will have to talk and the conversation will come at a very high price.

The witness's are just as guilty as he is, all of this was swept under the rug because of the implications it would bring to the School and it's sports program, they made up their minds to look the other way. The firing of the coach came a decade too late, I don't really have much respect for him or the other person that felt football was more important. I feel sure they will nail the coach for perjury and rightfully so. This shouldn't surprise people, these types of degenerates are usually found close to schools and in a lot of instances working with kids. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to see the fox guarding the hen house. We never saw much of this back in the 50's because those people kept a very low profile and most never openly did these things to children, they knew they would never make it to the jail cell alive, street justice was alive and well in the 50's. Some would argue that it is wrong and mistreatment or denying do process, to me due process means making sure it don't happen again.

And the DA who was investigating all of this has been missing and presumed dead since 2005. This is only the tip of the iceberg folks. How can that young man live with himself for not stopping it, lest he feared for his life as well. We don't know the full story and trust and believe it will be sordid.

And Costas had to repeat the question three times before Sadnusky finally, and unconvincingly, said "No!" The headline writes itself.

It is shocking, vile, disgusting. It angered and repulsed me unlike any story in recent memory. At this point no!, as far as attendance. The schools name has been tainted and like it or not whenever "Penn State" is mentioned, a negative image will come to mind at least for the near future. Why? The football program there and Coach Paterno were the central identifying elements. Now with this recent revelation of criminal sexuals acts against children [[notice I did not say "scandal"), it will be what the school's name will be attached to.

I agree with your comments about the judge. I would very much like to see Mr. Sandusky in prison for his crimes.

None of those people think they did wrong, they probably think they gave more than they got [[by way of favors and special treatment and opportunities etc. etc.... I speak from personal familial experience, and the accused actually felt "picked on" when the truth started coming out.)

What is at least as sickening, disgusting, appalling, abhorrent and any other euphemism for effed-up is that so many others knew and did nothing to put an absolute stop to it. I'm not talking about the lower level whistle-blowers who did report to their superiors. Thanks.....thats cool Skooldem, but Kev-Lo asked us what we thought and we answered. I don't think anyone on this forum held a press conference to say that they had showered with kids and engaged in horseplay that included touching them . At this point I don't think a trial will change anyone's opinion. I know OJ's numerous trials didn't. Moreover Sandusky has a legal right to bail & a speedy trial and I'm sure he'll get that. The grand jury indictment which quite a few folks have referenced is appalling no matter who did it. Even so a trial is no guarantee that we'll get all the facts or all the truth, so like most folks in this country we'll just have to talk about it until we stop talking about it.

I would also take a closer look at his children who were adapted and the foster children that have lived in his house through the years.

Why am I suddenly reminded of Michael Jackson's interview years ago with Martin Bashier?

If the school thinks they are in the clear by changing their football staff or president, they should think again. This isn't going to go away. It's going to get much worse.

I would like to say that I was involved as a coach for 3 seasons in a suburban town
in the late 1960's.
I had to tell the people in charge that I did not want lurkers around my freshman
basketball team. It seamed like they put up with these creeps. Not me.
Also my wife caught a creep hanging around the cheerleader's locker room dressed in women's clothes,
scaring the hell out of the girls.
It seems these creeps know that a coach-supervisor can't watch every corner of the locker room
or stadium.
Ask around your town. These jerks have always been around.

It does belong in the Clubhouse, and immediately after KevLo posted it, he realized the mistake and posted an acknowledgement of his error. I guess Ralph thought it was no big thing, since he could have easily moved it to the clubhouse.
