I never have been much of a fan of Sammy Davis Jr, I didn't much care for either his singing style or his comedy but he certainly was popular [[both in the US & UK).

However I picked up a UK 1964 released Reprise EP by him cheap the other day.
It includes his take on the Bobby Darin written & recorded song "Not For Me" which I do like.
Did he cut many other tracks in this style ??

I have his Motown L.P. Something For Everyone, and its full of Standards and /or that sort of material. Can be Quite bland really. But there are some tracks that stand out. You have to be in the mood really, I guess. Difficult to explain..Pau;lo XXX
