    "Turn Around" her 1996 single
"Love Is Like An Itching In My Heart" [[she had it in briefly years ago and would be good to hear her do it again)
"You Are the Heart of Me" would be an excellent addition
    "Pick Up the Pieces"
"Under Any Moon" from her 1992 CD "Walk the Line"
" The One I Love [[Push Has Come to Shovin'"
"You Danced My Heart Around the Stars"

I wish I could like this song but I don't! And I think Mary is real uncomfortable performing the song in that TCB dress too.

    Check out this video.....Mary shines!

I also would love to have Mary reprise this song: "How Lucky Can You Get"

A beautiful and classy performance ruined by disgusting and probably very libelous and slanderous comments.

    I totally agree with crosstown.
This song is disgusting; especially for a woman to perform.
She sounds awful in that it's not suited for her type of voice.
Is it any wonder this did nothing for her career.
And I bet big bucks Mary wishes she were wearing something "new" at the time.
Mary had to eat bones at this phase in her quest.
Why is it that certain fans of hers try to present her worst spots as her best spots? How Cruel?!
Is it any wonder Mary never revisits these songs today!

I thought this was OK; the singing isn't the greatest and the dress doesn't allow her to move around; but it was an attempt at some wild singing.

This must have been about 1984 when Tina Turner was popular because that's what it sounds like.

I'm surprised that at some stage Mary didn't manage at least one hit because she certainly had become a good singer by 1976.

If Mary wanted to pull a surprise and just knock the audience completely out, she'd sing "Baby Don't Go" from 1961-62. One of her earliests recordings with the Supremes. She had a beautiful voice even way back then:

Has Mary added "Life's Been Good to Me" to her live set yet?

    I'd like to see:

    "Red Hot"
    "One Night With You"
    "U"
    "Come and Get These Memories"
"Can't Take My Eyes Off of You"

It still baffles me why Mary doesn't include "Red Hot" into her act, since I'd personally almost consider it her "signature" song. Hell, sing a few bars acapella.

I love the gown, and I can almost guarantee that it was worn because it's green. Just as most likely Mary would wear a red dress if she ever sang "Red Hot". A simple performance trick.

She has not added "Life's Been Good to Me" yet and I believe she wants to wait until it is released in the U.S.

She performed "One Night With You in her concerts for several years between 1988 and 2000 approximately. She performed "U" for several years after it's release in 1996 as well.

Mary performed "Red Hot" for many years in concert starting in 1979 until the late 80's where she would invite a guy from the audience to the stage and have him dance with her and her two singers asking him if he was "man enough to handle 3 women!" LOL! It use to be like her signature song......wayyyy back in the day! [[before that is was "How Lucky Can You Get")

Now she considers " Here's to Life" and / or "I Am Changing" to be her signature songs. Those are subject to change as soon as she adds "Life's Been Good to Me" to her set list.

So, in other words, this artist has no signature song?

Mary's signature song to fans should be Can't Take My Eyes Off of You; but maybe hit wise, it would be Floy Joy?

Surely, it can't be Red Hot; that was just aimless and played a huge part in Mary not making it as a hit artist.

No to all of those. It should be the ones that brings the audiences to their feet as she does consistently today with "I Am Changing" and /or "Here's to Life". She is VERY much a hit artist. She is a BIG hit as a live, concert artist! She's made it big time and is still making it. Check her out whenever she is up your way.

I'd like to see and hear Mary do a few more Jazz style songs such as "Birdland" or "Ray's Rockhouse" ala The Manhattan Transfer. She use to do a few songs made popular by Anita Baker and Brenda Russell. She would be excellent singing "Been So Long" or Carly Simon's " You Belong to Me".

    Oh, but my word, yes.
Jobeterob, back in the days when Mary used to be interviewed on popular talk shows due to her Diana Ross controversies, she used to sing a short medley of her background supreme parts that the audience truly connected with as to who she was.
"Can't Take My Eyes Off You" was in her supremes days for years, so I would imagine that will be remembered in oldies history "if" future parties delve into more than just the big hits on a group and its many members and their peculiarities.

As I've mentioned a few times since the release of Let Yourself Go, if Mary had got the right material, at the right time, with the right producer and management and with a record company behind her, she could have been a success; because the voice was there. But I guess there are thousands of singers out there that can say the same thing.

But Mary is a success. I understand that you are only referring to one aspect of her career which is recording. Luckily she has stayed around long enough and is talented enough for that not to matter so much in her ability to make the CASH! LOL!!!!!

obviously, jobeterob, you are not a success. wilson has "made it" in spite of her dismal showing with the no-hit supremes.
she could write a book titled: My Life As A Red-Hot
and it would be on some best sellers list.
please strive to become a success, and not some oldies lawyers act that earns cash or money for intruding on people in casinos.
    p.s. i'm on your side!

Not true, Mary toured Russia and the Uk earlier this year and will head back to the UK in October.

My message was in jest to someone that inferred she doesn't play similar gigs to that of THE FLOS and etc. abroad.
All oldies groups travel to paying gigs no matter where they are if the price is right.

No! By definition, Mary Wilson is a current recording artist. She has a new record out called "Life's Been Good to Me"! It's great, it's fresh, it's today! Check it out:

I believe that Mary Wilson, El DeBarge, Pete Rivera and maybe perhaps Smokey Robinson are the only Classic Motown artists that have new recordings at this time. Can you believe it's been 28 years since that "Motown 25" special? Whew! LOL!!!

I have a mix cassette at home [[yes, that's how old it is) of Mary performing differnt songs from different solo shows from the early 1990s and she does, in my opinion, shine on some of the material such as:

    Ne Me Quitte Pas
    Piano In The Dark
    Spring Is Here
    Body And Soul

as well as some of her own recorings such as:

    Walk The Line
    One Night with You

Although I would love to hear Mary add some of those wonerful songs she did so well back in the 70s with the Supremes, and yes I would love to hear them in their entirity not just as medley form such as:

Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You
    quite Nights of Quite Stars
    A Song For You
    How Lucky Can You Get

    "Body and Soul"
