    "Forgotten" Hits

I wanted to put together a playlist of "forgotten" Motown hits - by that I mean the songs that hit but are not the ones everyone goes to. For instance, All I Need & Superstar [[Remember How You Got Where You Are) by the Temptations, The End Of Our Road by Gladys Knight & The Pips, I Promise To Wait My Love by Martha Reeves & The Vandellas, You by Marvin, If This World Were Mine by Marvin & Tammi.

Anyone have any other ideas or suggestions? So many compilations have the big hits but I would like to find the ones that, maybe, bubbled under.

Thanks! Some wonderful choices here.... and I'm sorry to say, I forgot about a lot of them! Just the kind of songs I want on a playlist!

Boy this is a discussion that could go on a longgg time and have a longgg list. I see that Eddie mentioned the Gladys song You Need Love Like I Do, the day after I did hear it on Sirius XM radio.

I agree with many of the choices already mentioned but would add Martha's Bless You. Definitely should have been a bigger hit than it was.......which is to say it really wasn't a hit at all but I sure don't understand why.

If this thread continues I might come back another time with some others.

I am enjoying reading and reminiscing with these lists. Are we just sticking with songs that were released as singles; or also including album cuts, etc? I'm seeing several songs that I don't recall as ever released as singles; however, maybe they were released as such in other countries? If we're allowed to submit non-singles, I want to add to my previous list "Everything's Good About You" by the Supremes.
