Music Downloads

I'll start by saying I am not an Apple person. I do not stream my music, I like to own the tracks whether buying directly or ripping from a CD. I used to buy my music from Amazon, but I would like to NOT use them. What sites do you use to download albums and/or tracks? What sites do you use to order CD's? Any info would be welcome. I should add that I'm in the USA.

I use these sites for ordering CDs; Deep Discount, Import CDs & Dusty Grooves. I'm not for using downloads and only know iTunes & Amazon Music for that. And like you, I'm in USA.

I am in UK and I have recently opened a Qobuz streaming account but before I registered I bought and downloaded 2 tracks. I checked that Qobuz is available in US but not sure if you can purchase tracks/albums without an account like you can in UK. Downloads are in FLAC [[lossless) format and I can hardly detect any less sound quality from CD. There is also Tidal but you can only purchase tracks/albums if you have an account.

CDs mainly buy from Ebay, occasionally Discogs and very occasionally Amazon if cheaper there or unavailable elsewhere.

Just checked and you can purchase tracks/albums from Qobuz without a subscription in US.
