Motown Big Hits & More 7 CD Set - Treasury Collection

Seems like this set may still be available and given the quality and amount of tracks the price doesn't seem bad at $59.98.

Since March is music month - I wonder whether there may also be a 20% discount applied?

Sadly it's only available for shipping to the USA. Worth checking out though methinks. I'm unable to check anything for you as I'm in the UK [[but I have the set anyway).

I suspect that most of us have all these tracks and in some cases probably 10 or more copies of some of them. But I commend TJ for including The Four Tops "I Got a Feeling." For a non-hit, that is an absolutely awesome song.

I'm one of those folks who have all of those songs on that collection. However I'll say TJI did include a couple of lesser known [but well loved] Motown classics like "Third Finger Left Hand", "There's No Stopping Us Now", "You'll Lose A Precious Love" and others to make it a good buy for Motown collectors.

PS: I stand corrected; this set should be an excellent collection for Motown Fans since it contains New Stereo Remixes of these songs.

It's worth getting for the "many first time extended stereo mixes of Motown's biggest hits" and the sound quality is amazing [[at least to my ears). It's strongly related to "The Motown Box" set[[s) of 2005 [[B0004999-02 and B0004863-02).

Can see more information here [[I think I gleaned the mix information from a previous posting on this Forum).

Gee thanks [[quoting Smokey from his solo 70s special)...

Tom and I remixed many of the Stereo Motown Box Set songs [[as we had more time) and there are many unique mixes on this set and additional extended versions that are on no other collection. It's my favorite of the two sets we did, The Stereo Motown Box and this one.

One issue - was we didn't have time to remix "I Got A Feeling", "I'll Turn To Stone" or "If You Can Want" or "It's A Good Feeling" for this set - - we need to follow up with some more volumes for sure. Some are the standard lp versions as we hadn't used them on the previous "Stereo Motown Box" as my goal for each set was different.

Yes please - I'd love more of these.

Me too ! I recommend both this 6 CD set and "The Motown Box" anyone interested in Motown should own both. I`m disappointed that the 2 Four Tops songs "I Got A Feeling" and "I`ll Turn To Stone" were not remixed. Perhaps on the next venture.
