California Fires.- Is Berry and his property safe?

Terrible scenes regarding the fires raging in California.
Do we know if Berry [[ and Smokey and other Motowners) are safe?.

I just looked at a fire map and BG's estate is almost directly in between the Palisades and Sunset fires, so at this point Mr. Gordy should be fine. As we've seen though these fires can be very unpredictable and come up seemingly out of nowhere.

I just checked the current fire maps and sadly the Gordy Estate is now in an "Evacuation Warning" area which means: "Potential threat to life and/or property. Those who require additional time to evacuate, and those with pets and livestock should leave now." Let's keep Mr. Gordy in our thoughts during this time and hope that his home and its contents are spared from the fires. I'm not sure exactly where Claudette lives or any other Motown alums in the L.A. area, but I do hope for their safety as well.

Just a word of support from the UK to all affected by these terrible fires. I'm sure much of the rest of the world is concerned for you. Hope that they manage to stop the spread soon and bring under full control.
Looking forward this must never be allowed to happen again and all humanly possible steps taken to achieve this.

It's just incredible that so much damage from the wind on the back of the largest sea the Pacific Coast on the West Coast of California, with those strong winds, caused all of those terrible fires & damages that so many have lost their homes and everything.

I had thought and seen on TV that those terrible fires & areas are very difficult to be managed, it now appears that other areas are large and likely to continue with the exceptional strong winds, all of the Fire Fighters are incredible in doing their best in such dangerous work.

Hopefully fires are not so dangerous as the previous, let's hope everyone is OK and can save as much as everything. God Bless all, the Firefighters, the Police as well as the Aircraft Teams and all others.

We had been to California and we loved it, superb properties & friends let's hope everyone is OK.

I have spoken with Eric Iversen and messaged Scherrie Payne. None of the Former Ladies of Supremes are in harm's way, at least for the moment. Scherrie is praying as we all are. It's a terrible situation.
