    Motown reggae songs

Having just heard Syreeta's Your Kiss Is Sweet it got me wondering about which other Motown songs have a reggae influence. I came up with Boogie On Reggae Woman but then got stuck.

I thought I'd see what folk on this group can come up with.

BTW - I really like YKIS even though the single edit is rather "harsh". A big hit here in the UK back in the day and very popular in the clubs.

The Jackson 5's "It's Too Late to Change the Time" has a decidedly reggae feel to these ears, though maybe unintentional.

There's Stevie Wonder's "Master Blaster [Jammin']" from 1980.

Tamla T-54197 Bob and Marcia - "Young Gifted and Black" bw "Peace Of Mine"

Richie Stephens was a reggae artist who's album "Pot Of Gold" was released by Motown. His version of "What's Going On" is from this same album -

And my perennial favourite - "Serious Reggae Business" from Lucky Dube who's album "Trinity" was released by Motown owing to a deal with Clarence Avant to distribute his TABU Records.

Syreeta's "Your Kiss Is Sweet" on from Motown L.A. 45 Test Press M-1328F 1974.
It was never issued in the U.S.A only in the UK & Europe which was a huge record.

Diana Ross has a version of "What a Difference a Day Makes" from the Blue album. I don't think it's on the CD though.

"What a Difference a Day Makes" is on "The Blue" CD but it isn't a reggae version.
