Do you recognise this tune? Surely a copyright infringement?

Great question - of course it's "Night Fo' Last" as written by Clarence Paul and Shorty Long [[released 1968). The Commodores "Rise Up" from 1969 was written by Jerry Williams.

Oddly there's a Beverly Hillbillies type countrified version [[of "Rise Up") on an album by Swamp Dogg - "Blackgrass: From West Virginia to 125th St" out this year - June 2024.
    And - Swamp Dogg's real name is . . . . . Jerry Williams.

There'll be more to discover about this I'm sure.

Discogs also lists 2 LP's and 41 CD's, containing 9 tracks, under different titles [[e.g. "Uprising"), but tracks all the same, including the 2 from the released single, mainly covers of well known soul records. All the other covers have been given their correct writing credits.

p.s. I'll not be buying, not my cup of tea!
