Anyone know anything about this group?

Never heard of them until I read your post. But I went to YouTube and a couple of their songs are on there. They sound like a disco group though on the funkier side of Disco.

Here's one more, apparently from 1981:

One of those ladies is LeJeune Richardson [[aka Edna Woods) -- former Ikette and Tina Turner's background singer/dancer through the "Foreign Affair" tour.

Sounds like JUST FRIENDS was poorly mixed/pressed, too loud , too much distortion and not enough bottom which prevented it from being a club hit, DJs won't play what blasts out as 'noise', because otherwise this is a very attentive and deserving production. Surprising because there's a remix credit. Also not a solid 4/4 drumming style.
The three get full songwriting credits on most of the cuts.
The two on the cover that look a bit like Donna Summer/Mary Wilson are sisters, one of which married Heard the producer of this.

Kind of Loleatta vocally at times. For what its worth, were I tweeking this I'd have them declaring, we can't only be just friends, baby.
