Backup Girl Group For Jr. Walker And The All-Stars

I have always wondered who the girls are that backup Jr. Walker.
Some of his album sound like the same backup girls but sometimes I hear different girls who seem less soulful such as A Gasssss album which seems to have more than one group on the album.

I've wondered this too, it doesn't sound like the Andantes but going into the 70s, new members came into their group. I think other singers were utilized. The two girls from Undisputed Truth did sessions for the 4 Tops and Edwin Starr. Joyce Vincent and Telma Hopkins also did backing vocals for several acts.

Whomever the ladies are on Walk In The Night, they stole the recording. Absolutely beautiful song that should have been a huge hit.

He was doing some work with Johnny Bristol during this period - the track for Someday We'll Be Together was recorded for Junior. Maybe some of the songs are Julia & Maxine Waters?
