    Hello,

You know, I must've misspoken. I think I was mixing it up with what I always thought was a bootleg LP I have of Earl Van Dyke's "Earl of Funk" which I bought back in the 90s, new and sealed as I recall and even sealed it just looked too new to be an original LP from the early 70s.

I checked my collection to be sure, and I actually have two copies of the Earl Van Dyke album, one sealed and one opened. The opened one appears to be legit; it's got the popular multicolored inner sleeve of contemporaneous albums and the Soul label looks to be authentic, not faded or what looks like a photocopy of the label.

But I'm sure that's the album I was thinking of if I made that statement. I don't have the Ivy Jo Hunter in my collection, nor do I recall ever having seen it now that my memory is jogged. Sorry for the error. I know how frustrating it is when you think you're onto something and then it turns out to be a dead end!

I'm sure this article has made the rounds, but I hadn't seen it before so thought I'd highlight it. Very informative and again, frustrating that the Ivy Jo Hunter Anthology release was halted somewhere along the line.
