MOTOWN DC Exhibit [ends before it begins]

There was an article in today's Washington Post about a current exhibit at the Anacostia Arts Center. Ironically it ends today. I get the WP daily and I have never seen a mention about this exhibit and on such short notice it is next to impossible to go there today because of the excessive temperatures today.

I have seen no mention of this event on the forum or anywhere else.

Has anyone gone to see it? Looks fabulous.

First I have heard of it. They should have publicized it more at the beginning.

Lead singer Tony Washington made history as one of the few openly gay Motown singers at the time.
so who were the rest of the " few openly gay Motown singers at the time" ? [Carl Bean comes to mind, that makes two, others?]

and who were the NOT 'openly' gay Motown singers at the time that this hints at ??
