Thanks for the heads up. I ordered all of these. Have the Supremes and the Temptations releases in hand and can attest that they both sound great. The Smokey and Tops are en route.

This was a good read as well, since it clarified some additional details concerning this Motown vinyl reissue campaign. Reps from Elemental confirmed that these releases are sourced from high-res digital files provided by Universal [which is what I had suspected].

So far no luck trying to order the Temps and Tops releases here in Europe.

Jack, what store do you normally order your vinyl from? iMusic in Denmark and Amazon.de have the Still Waters reissue. I haven't checked the Tempts.

Also theIngroove.com has good price shipping to Europe from the US:

Thanks for the info guys but buying from the UK is getting more and more expensive due to import taxes and higher shipping costs.
40-50 Euro for an LP is getting crazy. I try to shop from EEC shops but the Amazon DE LP will not be shipped to Holland.
I will wait for a better price.

Ok, so I suppose there is nothing new, just getting the same stuff on vinyl?

Correct. No previously unreleased mixes or alternate versions here. These are brand new reissues of Motown albums that have not been commercially available on vinyl for decades.

Where do you all store them?

Ikea has some nice heavy duty MDF cube shelves called "Kallax", which fit vinyl records perfectly and are available in different colours and sizes. I have an earlier, slightly more heavy duty version, called Expedit. I have two, of the two by two cube, of those shelves, which hold about 400 vinyl records, and they also have a clear space on top to display whatever you'd like on top [audio equipment, photo frames, etc]. I have two custom locally-made shelves in a separate room, which hold another 300. I have a few boxes in my basement as well, which I'll eventually get around to selling off.

    The Kallax shelf by Ikea...

This nice full-sized insert is included in the new I Hear A Symphony vinyl reissue. They put in the effort of replicating the same format as the original Motown inner sleeves. It is advertising the currently available Elemental vinyl reissues, as well as the titles that they will be releasing for the remainder of this year, through to March 2025.
