"Nightflight" Tue Jul 5, 9P-12M ET: Tonight PHILLY is the Heart & Soul of Nightflight

Yes, FOLKS! Tonight, after taking a poll of a number of choices for the show, PHILLY becomes the "affaire musicale du jour"! "Nightflight" LOVES Philly anyway...so to have more opportunities to indulge in TSOP...I couldn't be happier!

Now, just to let you know...Philly will take over "Nightflight" again soon because SDF's own son of Philadelphia, Jim Bagley has agreed to do a "Listener's Choice" show focusing on Philly music...and I am so looking forward to it. Thanks, Jim!

Will Motown appear at all tonight? Of COURSE! I'll play some Motown/Philly of some fashion. So, join me tonight for Philly....on "Nightflight"...on WOMR 92.1 FM Provincetown and WFMR 91.3 FM Orleans...and streaming live worldwide in digital stereo at www.womr.org
    Thanks!
    John

    "PHILLY" and "SON OF PHILLY"

Hey Johnny, looking forward to "Philly" tonight. It's always a great show! Philly is my favorite [[after Motown that is.). I know I'll be hearing Brenda's "One Girl Too Late", so I won't request it.

Jim Bagley, glad to hear your doing a Listener's Choice show. Looking forward to "Son of Philly" in the very near future. More Philly! I guess I'm just a "Philly, Philly Fool".

I've seen The Blob several times - including at previous Blob Fests - and I didn't remember her name being billed differently, although it is very possible. I do know Aneta Corsaut [[Helen Crump from the Andy Griffith Show) plays Steve's girlfriend in The Blob. I will miss Blobfest this year due to an operation on my nasal passage this Friday. No big deal, but I will be laid up for a few days. I will tell more about Blobfest when my segment airs in four weeks.

Had no dupes in my lineup up until One Girl Too Late and Nights Over Egypt. Fortunately, I have backups for Brenda and the Jones Girls [[as opposed to Brenda of the Jones Girls).

To be more specific, the Tabulation ladies were Pat Mercer and Deborah Martin.

Thanks Joseph for the McQueen billing. I can tell you he was a pretty old looking high school student in The Blob.

Back to Brenda and the Tabs: Top & Bottom. That's dirty too!

Miss Patti ordered her bodyguards to beat up a young serviceman who was talking on his cell phone near her limo. I am sure she was just having a bad day. Unfortunately for Miss Patti, the incident was filmed.
